Mark Wagner was invited to chalk draw at the Dublin (CA,USA) Food, Wine, & Art Festival called Splatter. Sticking with the theme Wagner designed used a palette, grapes, glass of wine, spoon, knife, and a brush to create the image.

Wagner photographed the still life and then used a software program called BSAsidewalk3D which “creates easy-to-use grids for copying anamorphic projections of images onto sidewalks or other surfaces. The result, when viewed from the correct observation point, is a 3D illusion that appears to be a (usually large) object or scene.”

“One of the best moments was when I needed help in setting the chalk line so I could grid out the image. I asked a dad and 2 girls and they said yes, and the girls had so much fun helping the dad just watched.”
